Situated approximately 400 miles north of Buenos Aires, the province of Santa Fe offers some of the world’s best waterfowl hunting. Its unique agriculture featuring many lagoons, marshes and the permanent water supplies of the San Javier River and the Parana River and its deltas make this area an attractive habitat for many types of waterfowl.
Sante Fe provides many different species of duck. You may see Comb,
Muscovy, Yellow Billed Pintail, Cinnamon Teal, Southern Wigeon,
Black-Bellied Whistling, Lake Duck, Masked, Rosey-Billed Pochard, Brazilian,
Red Shoveler, Black-Headed, Ringed Teal, Fulvous Whistling, Speckled Teal,
Silver Teal and a few others. From the middle of May until the end of August, you will also be able to
hunt the famous perdiz (Spotted Nothura), which has a limit of (12) per day. This is our only area in Argentina that provides both Dove and Duck Hunting while staying at the same hunting lodge.
