WHAT : Looking for a new destination? Piura offers the experienced sportsman first class duck and dove hunting in Northern Peru. Most hunter shoot from 20 to 60 ducks during the morning hunt and days with 100 plus ducks are also common. You will hunt white cheeked pintails, fulvous and black bellied whistling ducks, yellow billed pintails and late in the year blue winged teal

SAMPLE ITINERARY:
FIRST DAY: Arrive in Lima. A company host will be there to greet you and help you with your bags. Depending on what time you arrive you will connect to a flight to Piura. Upon arrival to Piura you will be met by outfitter and transferred to your hotel for check in. At nigh your will be taken to a welcome dinner at one of Piura’s most famous seafood restaurants (Dinner will be on the house for arrival night). By the way, Peru is famous for its seafood.
Days 2,3,4 and 5: 3:30AM wake up call, coffee and rolls will be provided. By 4AM you will be departing hotel and driving to hunting area. Most drives average 1 hour. Once we arrive in hunting area you will be escorted to your blind where bird boys and decoys will be set waiting for you. You will shoot ducks in the morning till around 10AM. After the morning hunt, lunch will be served by an Uruguayan chef who specializes in local entrees. During the break, you can shoot clay targets (at market price), try your hand at fishing in nearby ponds or rest in hammocks. In the afternoon you will hunt white winged and ear doves. Dinner and night activities in Piura at your own leisure and expense.
Day6: After breakfast you will catch your return flight to lima and your flight home.
